Sage oil is obtained by steam distillation from the flowering tops and leaves of a sage variety indigenous to Europe, and has a penetrating, fresh, herbaceous aroma.  Sage oil is anti-bacterial and anti-viral, and tackles infection whilst boosting the immune system.  It is an excellent addition to blends for arthritis and muscles aches and pains, as well as treatment recipes for haircare and oily, over-active skin.  
Blends well with: rosemary, juniper, spruce, eucalyptus, cedarwood
