Rosmarinus officinalis
Rosemary is familiar as a highly fragrant flowering shrub growing in many gardens. Its strong, camphoraceous, woody/balsamic aromatic oil can be smelled when rubbing the leaves, and is obtained through steam distillation. Rosemary is considered cephalic and is a wonderful brain tonic, sharpening memory and focus. Its analgesic properties make it an excellent treatment for arthritis and muscle aches and pains.
