Rose absolute from the Damask rose is obtained by solvent extraction from fresh rose petals collected during the dawn hours.  Many thousands of flowers are processed to obtain a very small quantity of the golden-amber colored, highly fragrant rose absolute. 
Considered the ‘women’s oil,’ rose is valuable for the reproductive system and skincare, and its aphrodisiac and euphoric qualities overcome stress and depression.
Blends well with: jasmine, sandalwood, lavender, clary sage, neroli, geranium
Major constituents: geraniol, citronellol, nerol, linalool, farnesol
