Lavandula hybrida
Lavender is perhaps the best known essential oil in aromatherapy. Lavandula hybrida, known as lavandin, is a hardy hybrid lavender that flourishes wherever it is grown. Its chemical composition is different from ‘traditional’ sweet lavender, having a higher percentage of camphor and cineole compounds, making it the lavender of choice for treating arthritis, rheumatism and muscle aches and pains.
Blends well with: eucalyptus, rosemary, copaiba, marjoram, cedarwood
