Copaifera officinalis
Copaiba balsam is extracted from trees in the genus Copaifera, which grow in tropical South America. Often compared to sandalwood or rosewood in its aroma, copaiba balsam has a subtle woody, sweet and balsamic fragrance. The oil has a grounding and meditative effect, and due to its beta-caryophyllene content, it has been compared to CBD in its effect on the nervous and immune systems.
