Cinnamon leaf oil is obtained by steam distillation from the leaves and twigs of cinnamon trees grown in Sri Lanka. Its aroma is recognizable to everyone due to its use as a household spice. Warm, spicy and sweet, cinnamon has an ‘oriental’ aroma which is comforting, reviving, strengthening and restorative. Often used as an aphrodisiac, cinnamon is also helpful for nervous and stress-related conditions.
